The Primary S.T.A.R.R. Principle

The primary principle of Safe Training and Responsible Restraints (S.T.A.R.R.) is first, to empower professionals through the utilization of relevant forms of verbal de-escalation and second, emphasizing only the minimal amount of physical intervention necessary to control the situation. Does your facility utilize S.T.A.R.R.? If so, please share your experience(s) in the application of the techniques, any aspects of the training and/or program in general.
